How Long Will It Take to Complete the Customized Engraving Service for Shipping?
▪︎ The average production time for music boxes with customized nameplates is 5 business days, while music boxes with customized engraving on wooden boxes require 7 business days. The estimated time does not include weekends or holidays. Thank you for your patience.
▪︎ If you do not respond to our customer support staff to confirm the engraving preview draft, we will not continue its production for shipping.
The engraving service fee is charged by the time of designing the layout for your customized engraving content.
▪︎ If you order two N20 Muro Boxes with the same engraving, the customization fee will only be charged once.
▪︎ Any content change request after we engrave it will require to pay additional fee again for rework.
The Steps to Complete Your Customized Laser Engraving
1. On this product page, select the location where you would like the engraving, then add it to your shopping cart.

2. After we receive your order, we will email you the form for you to fill out. You can also click the button below to submit the image and text content you would like engraved after completing your payment.
3. After receiving the form, our customer service staff will ask the designer to make adjustments according to the content material you provided, combined with the limitations of the working range of the laser engraving machine, and then make a layout draft for your review.
4. Once the layout draft is completed, we offer two opportunities for minor design adjustments. If more than two revisions are requested, or if the reference image is completely replaced and requires redrawing and re-layout, an additional engraving service fee will be charged.
5. The laser engraving will only begin after the customer approves the layout draft. Our customer service and designer will verify the engraving content is correct, and ensure the image and text clarity meet the shipping standards. Then, the production team will apply a protective coating to the metal plate and assemble it onto the music box.
Please note: To expedite shipping, please avoid adding the wooden box engraving service, as engraving must be completed before assembling the music box.

Please note: Custom engraving can only be done within the designated framed area. To engrave an image, provide a reference file. Complex designs require an additional 2 business days. Engraving starts after you confirm the design with customer service. Once approved, we will proceed with engraving, assembly, and shipment.

Language Options and Font Style
For text-only engravings, select your preferred font from our form. For unlisted fonts or languages other than Chinese, English, or Japanese, convert the text into an image file and provide it for engraving. Please note: The layout, including line breaks, spacing, capitalization, and punctuation, will be formatted exactly as you input it.

Limit engraving to 3 lines to maintain clarity and aesthetics. More text reduces font size, affecting readability. Adequate blank space ensures clear, appealing engraving. See the sample image below.
The pre-etched Muro Box logo and text on the N20 nameplate cannot be removed. If you need more space for your custom engraving design, we can use the back of the N20 nameplate (a plain surface without decorative borders) for engraving. Alternatively, you can opt for the N40 nameplate for your design, which offers a slightly different border design. Please refer to the N40 nameplate engraving form for details.

The Music Box I’ve Always Dreamed Of - I am a theremin performer and composer.
As the theremin is a monophonic instrument, it often requires accompaniment—typically piano or guitar. However, I’ve always been especially fond of pairing it with music boxes.
Over the years, I’ve explored many types, including disc music boxes and punched-roll models. Yet I continued to long for a high-precision, auto-playing music box that could handle more complex performances.
The Muro Box-N40 turned out to be exactly that. It offers beautiful tone, excellent stability, and precise expression through advanced control. Even real-time performance using a MIDI keyboard is possible, with virtually no latency.
I genuinely believe this is a revolutionary instrument.

Unique in that they’re the first company in the world to make an automated instrument that plays music acoustically in your own home, and you don’t need to buy a player piano that’s hundreds of times the price to do it! You can either come here to see the magic live in action or order their music box online to play live music in your home! The people here are really nice and they write a card to everyone who visits as a token of gratitude.
Amazing Team!!! - I love my Muro Box N20, it works perfectly on its own, with the included phone app, and I can use midi from my external instruments to control it with no problems. As well I got the resonator box, and I can confirm that it is worth it! The music box sounds louder and the sound really fills the whole room. I would highly recommend these music boxes to everyone.
