My husband loves the movie “Titanic” and he has watched it more than 10 times!
There is one scene in this movie when the leading actor, Jack, explains his life philosophy to the upper-class people at a night party. He said, “I figure life’s a gift and I don’t intend on wasting it. You don’t know what hand you’re gonna get dealt next. You learn to take life as it comes at you… to make each day count.”
My husband gave me the above quote when I lost direction in my life. He wishes we can “make every day count”, and we have many shared memories. Hence, I want to engrave this sentence “You make my every day count” on the Muro Box to present it to him.
The two cats next to the sentence are my drawings of our cute babies.

“The quote is from an older song called ‘Read My Mind’ by The Killers. When the song was first released my girlfriend and I were high school students and both liked the song a lot, so she made me a T-shirt with the lyrics above. The text on the shirt said ‘I don’t mind if you don’t mind’, which is the part of the song that comes just before the part on the box ‘I don’t shine if you don’t shine’, so combining them makes the full verse from the song:
‘I don’t mind if you don’t mind
‘Cause I don’t shine if you don’t shine’.”
About 12 years later she is now my wife and the mother of my child so it turned out the quote was actually true for us. When I saw Muro Box I figured it was high time I returned the favor, I hope she likes it as much as I do!”

Muro Box, the engraved image and the music composition are all part of a “thank you” note to my family (especially my wife). Me and my wife have been together for almost 15 years now and during this time we went through major life changes. No matter what was happening, she was always by my side.
In recent years, we had a new baby (the smaller one pictured in the engraving) and as soon as he was born we learned that he had to have an emergency surgery. He was so small and we were all very worried, my wife even more so, but in the end everything was fine and now he is this amazing happy toddler.
I guess I do have a lot to be thankful about. Specifically about the chosen image, it depicts myself, my wife (Solange), my older child (Eduardo) and the younger one (Arthur).

I’ve loved music boxes since I was a child! I’ve seen many different designs, but when I first heard about a music box that could play different songs continuously, I was immediately attracted.
When I actually saw the small, rounded N20, I was amazed by how clear and bright the sound was. I couldn’t believe that such a small device could be connected to a smartphone for music arrangement and even set to play wake-up music. It’s hard to believe that something so compact could be so functional inside and out!
A foreign colleague of mine recently had a birthday and became a grandfather (for the first time in his life). I wanted to give him a special gift to thank him for taking care of the younger generation. I was hoping to find a gift that was tasteful, could represent Taiwan, and was Made in Taiwan, but I couldn’t find anything suitable. Later, I stumbled upon the N20, which could be customized with an engraved message. The sound of the music box was so pleasant, and I thought it would be perfect for playing lullabies, so I immediately placed an order!
However, since my colleague was leaving Taiwan in just five days, I was worried I wouldn’t receive the gift in time to hand it to him personally. I play an instrument and make music as a hobby, and I would like to start playing music with her. As part of this, I bought a Muro Box for us to enjoy together. She and I both love the sound of a music box, plus it can play any melody we like via MIDI, so it’s the ideal instrument for us!

This music box was a gift for our dear coach. We knew there was a song that held special meaning for her, and its gentle rhythm was perfectly suited to the format of a music box. After discovering the N20 online, we worked with a composer to recreate the song. When we presented the gift at the restaurant, the room fell silent, and as the music began to play, the emotions in that moment were indescribable.

The gift was sent to Korea for the idol group VANNER. The designs were thoughtfully created by a partner who incorporated elements reflecting each member’s name, personality, and traits:
Gon: A dinosaur theme with three carrot-shaped leaves on his head to represent horns. His name is tied to dinosaurs, and the tail symbolizes the numerous heart emojis he likes to send to fans.
- Tae Hwan: A smiling dog with floppy ears. His side profile highlights his “golden angle,” and I included that intentionally. His initials are accompanied by a microphone, symbolizing his role as the main vocalist.
- Ah Guk: Features glasses (a personal touch) and his dog, Roy. The “O” in his name is intentionally drawn to resemble an egg 🥚.
- Young Gwang: A fox with his English initial and two shining stars ✧✧.
- Hye Seong: A cat with a curled tail (◝𖥦◜) and a warm sunflower on his head. The sprout in his name signifies his continual growth, which will eventually bloom into a flower.
As for the wooden box, the diamond is designed using only “V”-shaped cut lines to represent VVS. The sparkling detail at the end of the “S” reflects the brilliance of VVS and VANNER together. VVS is the fan club’s name.
Currently, two members are serving in the military, and we hope for a smooth reunion when they return. The English text “Be together” refers to the last song recorded by all the members before their hiatus.

Hello, everyone! I am Proton d-oo-b, and in 2016, I founded a unique music project called Alchemelic. The name is a combination of alchemy and melic (meaning melodic).
Our goal is to bring music to the streets and explore the potential of live performances. Initially, we planned to play music through speakers on the streets of Zurich but quickly discovered that this wasn’t permitted. To overcome this challenge, we considered using a music box with punched cards.
