My husband and I were classmates in high school, and we were also in the same club. But it’s not until our Junior year that we finally have the feeling for each other. Between the two of us, my husband has greater interest in music. In high school, he started to listen to western music including Eagles, Beatles,… etc. And during our ten plus years of romance, he was the one who sent love songs to me in ringtone.
From Getting Acquainted to Stepping into the Auditorium
My husband and I were separated for a year at the beginning of our relationship, and then we got back together. It may be because we are quite independent and need our own space and flexibility. Therefore, 13 years of being together, we gradually got to know each other, and also adjusted ourselves to be a better partner. We have also established complete trust with each other, and therefore, even though we were living apart in Taipei and Taichung in the first ten years of being together, the relationship is smooth and happy.
About ten years into our relationship, I moved from Taipei to Taichung. It was a milestone for the two of us to take the next step forward. After all, we have been living far apart for so long, and sometimes I feel surreal and need to live closer and see if reality bites. But everything went well and we had no immediate plan to get married. It was until my grandma suddenly had a medical condition, and I wanted her and myself not to have regrets, so we decided to hold a wedding!
The Addition of Our Son Makes the Family more Complete
We both wanted children, especially my husband. He loves children very much. As for me, yes, I like children, but I also like my work. XD So even if we are clear that we both want to have children, we were hesitant about when to have children (after all, it may affect our career development). In the first year of our marriage, I decided to try to prepare for pregnancy during a gap between changing jobs, and see if fate would come. It didn’t, so I decided to go back to work.
Little did I know that within the next few days, I found out that I was pregnant! Coincidentally, I received an offer to work from home, which was more suitable for me at the time. To this day, I was so glad that we decided to try to conceive before starting my career, because I may go back to work and work… without ever knowing how a baby can change our lives so much. We are so grateful and blessed with the love and changes our son has brought to us.
Searching for a Music Box to Play Different Songs
My husband loves music, and we often play music at home or in the car. One lazy afternoon, we wanted to play pure and clean sound of music as we were feeling that atmosphere that day. But my husband said: ” I want to listen to XXXX songs now, but I can’t choose music from the music box. The music box should be able to play any music that I like!”

“I only care about you” is my husband’s favorite song. Also because we gave each other a lot of freedom, and at the same time found the greatest sense of trust and support in this relationship. We both feel we are meant for each other and it is impossible to find another partner that is more suitable. XD So from the lyrics “Finding a soulmate in a lifetime is the greatest blessing” represents our relationship, and we are very grateful for that.
I have known my husband for 13 years, then we got married and had a baby together. I want to commemorate this love and cherishment along the way, so I found Muro Box to help arrange a song called “I Only Care About You”, and engraved my husband’s word of encouragement “You Make My Every Day Count!” on the music box.I am thankful this music box can bring back our loving memory, and to continue commitment for each other.
I chose these two songs because they seemed to resonate with our relationship and heart.
My husband loves the movie Titanic very much, and he has watched the movie a hundred times, literally. In the movie, when Jack was invited to the dinner party of the upper class, his views on life was “I figure life’s a gift and I don’t intend on wasting it. You don’t know what hand you’re gonna get dealt next. You learn to take life as it comes at you… to make each day count.”
When I lost my direction for a while, my husband sent this quote to me, encouraging us to “make every day count” . We have been together for so many years and have many great memories, so I want to remember this quote. The two cats in the engraving are also part of our family that we love very much.
Moment of Surprise with Emotional Tears
My husband was very excited to receive the music box! Of course, I was very happy to unbox it for him, where I placed photos in the packaging beforehand. The photos were taken in the past of our special moments, and that intensified the sentimental feeling with the music playing by the music box. Looking back on the past few years of dating, getting married, and having a child, my husband refrained from crying, and I was also on the verge of tears.
We are very happy that Muro Box has brought those meaningful memories back to our lives. We also look forward to accumulating more beautiful memories with our son and Muro Box.
