Stepping into the ✨ National Concert Hall ✨ is not only a milestone for a musician, but also a pivotal moment for the Muro Box-N40 programmable music box.
Taiwanese composer,Chun-yien Chang, alongside “Mysterium Musicum”, braved the fusion of technology and classical art, weaving the physical notes of the N40 into a modern orchestral piece.
Why did Mr. Chang specifically choose the “Sublime” version of the music box? He shared:
“During the performance, the N40 Sublime played a critical role in creating ‘material reverb.’ Its precise, repetitive, and metallically weighted timbre perfectly filled the void between human voices and technological coldness. As the acoustic density on stage shifted dramatically, the plucking of the music box’s comb felt like an echo of history vibrating through the air. This is a true ‘modern instrument’ capable of taking the international stage and interpreting deep emotions.”
