The Origin of Muro Box
Muro Box was born from a simple question: what if a music box could play every melody from a person’s life?
Our journey began after earning our PhDs in the U.S., combining engineering and education to realize this vision. Inspired by a small, single-tune music box we found in Austria, we set out to reinvent it.
In 2016, we began developing a programmable music box. Four years later, we introduced Muro Box—which stands for “Music Robot in a Box.” Its patented cylinder acts like a programmable robot, striking the comb to play any melody you choose.
This brand name reflects our mission: “Telling Your Stories with Technology.” We hope Muro Box becomes a lasting heirloom that connects generations through personalized music and shared memories.
