Open the Muro Box app, tap the icon in the bottom right corner to enter “Muro Box Settings,” then sequentially tap “My Muro Box” and “Connection Settings.” ⚠️ Android Configuration Key Tip: Hotspot frequency limitation: Muro Box only supports the 2.4 GHz frequency band. Android users must ensure the network band is set to 2.4 GHz; otherwise, the music box will not be able to detect the hotspot.
At this point, plug in the Muro Box power cord and press and hold the control knob for 10 seconds. After you hear a ding-dong sound, tap “Next” on your phone. The app will automatically scan and successfully connect to the Muro Box. Once done, tap “Next.”
On the “Set Muro Box Network” screen, scroll to the bottom and tap “Add Network.” Enter your phone’s hotspot name, select the security type (typically WPA2/PSK), then enter the hotspot password and tap “Connect.” While Muro Box is reconnecting, go to your phone’s settings and turn on the personal hotspot. Your phone screen will show the progress; please wait approximately 30 seconds. When Muro Box plays a short melody and the app screen indicates that the connection is complete, tap “Go to Library” to start playing music.
