Muro Box-N20 New Model is Coming Soon!

Muro Box is the world’s first app-controlled music box, breaking the limitation of traditional music boxes that can only repeat the same tune. Users can compose melodies via our app or select songs from our cloud library and send them to the mechanical music box for playback. It can even be scheduled to play at a specific time to create a delightful surprise!

The long-awaited new Muro Box model is finally coming! The design is finalized, and the battery module is complete—now, we just need your input to refine the details.

Special thanks to our Singaporean customer, Daniel Wong, for sharing his proposal photos! He placed the N20 Standard Edition music box on his guitar as a resonance box and used a 45W power bank, as we recommended, to power the music box. It played "A Lifetime of Waiting" and "In a Crowd of Thousands" while he sang live—and successfully proposed to his girlfriend!

Customer Expectations: Portable Use and Hassle-Free Gifting

One customer once shared his love for taking the music box on camping trips, enjoying the melodies while admiring nature. He wished for a battery-powered version to make this experience even better.

Others have hoped for a music box that can play smoothly during important moments like proposals or birthdays, without worrying about finding a power outlet. Imagine the awkwardness of pulling out a music box for a proposal—and then searching frantically for a power outlet!

The battery-powered music box has always been part of our plan, but we’ve never had the right opportunity to execute it. Since this new N20 model requires a larger wooden box to accommodate the battery, why not add some creative design elements to this new product?

We are currently planning to offer four major add-ons for the N20 model:

A. Battery Function (18650 Lithium Battery)

Imagine using the Muro Box outdoors (at a park, while camping, or at an exhibition), or even during special occasions like a proposal or surprise gift-giving moments.

1. How important do you think it is to play music without needing to plug in?(Required)

Very important—I want to use it in environments without a power source.

It's okay, but it's not a must-have feature for me.

B. Built-in NFC (Near Field Communication)

Imagine you can simply bring an NFC card or your phone close to the Muro Box to automatically play a specific song, such as:
• For home decor: Use NFC to play a specific song.
• For exhibitions or stores: Customers scan an NFC card to play different songs.
• For gifts or souvenirs: Pair a special NFC card with the music box to play a personalized song.

I love it! This would definitely be a feature I’d want to add.

C. Sensor

Imagine the Muro Box detecting your movements to play notes, much like a Theremin (see video). With the Theremin, you can create beautiful music by moving your hands through the air!

When triggered by an external force, the music box will play notes accordingly. You might even use external objects like plants or a water cup, as shown in the video, to play the music box.

You can use it in:
• Home entertainment: Let family or friends experience playing music in different ways.
• Music creation: Use the sensor to record unique ways of playing and incorporate them into your compositions.
• Education and demonstration: Teach children or students about the integration of music and technology.
• Art installation: As part of an interactive art piece.

7. What do you think of this feature?(Required)

I love it! The touch button design is exactly what I want.

No opinion, the difference between the knob and the touch button doesn't matter to me.

✦External Multi-Function Small Box for More Creativity

In addition to the features we want to add to the music box itself, we have also thought of many creative ways to use the music box:

• Turntable, linked to rotating decorations
• LED lights
• Voice-controlled song playback
• Magnetic attachments for decoration
• Other external connectors

However, due to space limitations, we are planning to release an external "Muro Dock" (similar to a small wooden box) in the future to support these additional features.

(1) Turntable: The external Muro Box Dock can hold small decorations, which rotate in sync with the music box motor, recreating the visual effect of a traditional music box.

(2) LED lights: The LED lights on the external Muro Box Dock can change color or flash according to the melody or have a time display feature.

(3) Clock: The external Muro Box Dock can display time, date, and other information.

(4) Voice control: Control the music box with voice commands or a mobile app, e.g., "Hey Siri, play my music box," to play music before bed without having to get up, or surprise someone when giving it as a gift.

(5) Magnetic feature: Easily change decorations or accessories on the external Muro Box Dock with magnetic attachments.

(6) Rotary Control: Replicates traditional music box functionality, allowing you to control the playback speed by turning a knob.

(7) Additional Ports: Enables external connections for MIDI or other compatible devices.
