Millettia Laurentii (its Chinese name translated means “Chicken wing wood”) has deep black feather-like wood grain. It has a prominent fibrous texture and occasional small pieces of wood may chip off at the edges.

We performed the same piece, “Girl Who Fell from the Sky: Castle in the Sky Theme,” on the Muro Box-N40 Sublime. This song involves both high and low tones, allowing you to compare the effects of four different wooden resonance boxes.
