š¶ The programmable music box brings warm melodies into a nursing home in Netherlands, lighting up the faces of the elderly with smiles. š
For the first time, Muro Box was brought by a customer to the nursing home De Fabriek in Maasbree.
Joeri shared:
āI chose to perform at the nursing home because this month marks one year since my mother passed away here. She lived here for nearly four years, and during that time, the caregivers gave more than just professional serviceāthey offered care, respect, and love.ā
In the lounge, residents gathered to listen. When the Muro Box-N40 played Saint-SaĆ«nsā Carnival of the Animals ā Aquarium, Charpentierās Te Deum, Scott Joplinās Original Rags, Handelās works, and several childrenās songs, their eyes sparkled with curiosity and joy. This performance was not only about sharing music, but also about giving heartfelt gratitude.
š” Joeri also shared the origin story of Muro Box:
The founding couple began their music box dream in Austria, when they bought a small music box that could only repeat a fragment of Mozartās Serenade. Years later, while cleaning their warehouse, they found that same limited music box again. Inspired by its restrictions, they decided to embark on an adventure to create Muro Boxāa programmable music box capable of playing diverse and rich music.
The residents were fascinated and eager to learn more about this innovation.
