Joeri from the Netherlands, a member of an automatic piano association, discovered Muro Box through their monthly magazine. He immediately became one of the earliest Indiegogo backers for the N20 Music Box, and was also among the first to support the N40 Music Box on Kickstarter.
His love for automatic instruments began with a player piano that had survived WWII — complete with bullet damage. When the N40 played a classic tune by Scott Joplin, he was instantly taken back to his student days, when he and his brother powered the pianola with a vacuum cleaner. It brought back warm, nostalgic memories.
After receiving his N40 Standard, Joeri traveled to Belgium to share it with friends.
Their reaction:
– “It’s not only beautifully crafted, but the sound is angelic and pure.”
As a proud owner of both the N20 and N40, Joeri also left this heartfelt comment on Kickstarter:
– “I listen to my N40 Standard almost daily, and each time it feels like the first.”
Joeri isn’t just passionate about self-playing instruments — he’s also a skilled photographer.
