This is a 60s hit by Dutch singer and performer Ramses Shaffy. I know this song for a long time, but it unexpectedly came in my mind again lately due to a little accident at work. One of my colleagues called Sammy went out to deliver a bunch of repaired bikes to one of our customers. And unfortunately, he drove our little van into a post. So when he arrived back at work with the dammaged van, some colleagues started laughing at him of course. And I could not help it singing alternate lyrics to this song requesting Sammy to look around in order to not driving into that post. And so the song hung around in my head for the rest of the day and that same evening, I made up this N40 version. 🙂
