This is a 60s hit by Keith West. Musically, it is quite simple, but there's something to it anyway. Furthermore, when listening to the song's lyrics, it touches me every time, especially at the end where the children realize they asked too much of old Jack who just passed away. One of those children could have been me since I also wasn't realizing some people like my grand parents were a few years older and so I needed to treat them with more respect than I did. So that's why I wanted to make up this N40 version hoping some of the emotions shine through.
