This is a well-known French song of which the title translates to "I'll wait for you". I got to know this one when listening to my father's reel-to-reel tapes he recorded back in the 70s. On those tapes, the 70s version by Dalida was featured and so I was sure that version was the original. Much to my surprise however, I later discovered that it was already recorded by Rina Ketty in the 30s. And since I think the 30s version has the most beautiful arrangement, I based this N40 version upon that, but I still used some chord sequences out of the Dalida version to also bring in the memory of me as a child listening to my father's tapes.
