This song is best known in the version of The Platters I guess? Anyway, it was in that version I got to know this song back when I was about six years old. Back then, I had this cassette by The Platters featuring their greatest hits and it was in that period I was hospitalized in a hospital in Gent (main city of the Belgian province of Oost-Vlaanderen) so that they could research my blindness and try to do something about it. So as I was in my bed there, I got my cassette recorder with me and given the noisy child I was, I no doubt must have caused some nuisance, because I still remember the nurse taking away my cassette recorder at one point. 🙂
