Music Arranger: Mickaël Ourghanlian


This traditional Irish song rocked my entire childhood, it was obvious to share an arrangement with everyone when I discovered Murobox.
I played it as a child on the whistle, then later on the violin. This song is part of the music that has accompanied me all my life!

I really wanted this song to be seen as a lullaby.
I changed the key to be able to exploit the bass of the music box, before gradually going up to the treble, doubling the main voice at the octave.
Arpeggio chords help to fully fill the resonances.

I am a luthier specializing in string quartets, and also a musician since the age of 3.
After many years of playing flute, I started playing the violin at 18.
