This is a song by French singer Jean Clement and it is featured on a 78RPM record I once bought at an antique market in Tongeren, a Belgian city in the province of Limburg. At that time, I worked for the university of Leuven as a programmer and we had this project leader who took pleasure in troubling me for some strange reason. So when we went to Tongeren (it must have been around the year 2000 I guess), I was kind of angry, tired and completely fed up after alot of troubles he threw at me again, so it wasn't going to be a great day. To my big surprise however, as the sun was shining, I opened up again doing the tour on the market and best of all, we found some 78RPM records in descent shape. And one of them included this beautiful song which brings back this memory every time I hear it. It contains some unusual chord sequences that I never could do with my N20 music box; so now that I have an N40, it is time to share this memory with you all. And it was kind of a challenge since I first of all had to determine the right chords and then deal with the transformation from 4/4 to 3/4 and then try to play all this with no errors. Unfortunately, the latter didn't work out that well, so finally, the computer helped me out correcting all my errors. 🙂
