This one takes me back to a musical children's story called "Het oinkbeest" that we often listened to in school when I was a toddler. There are many songs within the story and I will collect them all in a playlist called "Het oinkbeest". This story (and its related songs) is one of the first memories I have and therefore, it is very ... how should I say ... primitive as it takes me back to a time where I was still exploring the regular things in life. At that time, we had a little doll with a built-in music box in our classroom; I can't remember which melody it played, but I still remember I was afraid to pull the wind-up cord too hard (because I had the idea in my head that the cord would come out completely 🙂 ). I love going back to that period from time to time because it helps me to realize I once was a little child that still had to learn everything. But at the same time it tells me that even nowadays, as a grown-up, I still should always remember I don't know everything and I still have to learn many things every day.
By the way, this musical story was written and recorded by Dutch musical couple Elly en Rikkert. In my opinion, they did a wonderful job! If you are interested in the original story, just look it up on Youtube and for people not speaking Dutch, just load it into something like Google's NotebookLM and generate an audio podcast to hear what it is all about.
