Very beautiful song sung in Dutch by German singer Reinhard Mey. This one takes me back to the 90s (although it is a song from the 70s) when I was in my first year in the regular school. One of my then-class mates had it on a cassette and she regularly played it. It was the German accent making me laugh at first, but listening more in depth revealed to me the wonderful talent of Reinhard Mey. And although he sings it with much emotion and expression, it fluently became a Muro Box version as I was experimenting on the piano. The only thing I wasn't aware of before I did this Muro Box version is how the time signature changes from 3/4 in the refrain to 4/4 in the verse; that's kind of cool I think. Even though I wanted to eliminate it to match the Muro Box app (asking me to select a time signature throughout the whole song), I finally decided to keep it anyway to preserve the unique soul of the song.
