This is a 50s hit by Belgian singer La Esterella. It is about the cathedral of Antwerp (a Belgian city) that used to be the highest building of Belgium. It's yet another song I got to know listening to my father's reel-to-reel tapes he recorded in the 70s. In contrast to the original arrangement with a big orchestra and choir, my Muro Box N40 version is much more modest. I didn't plan on making it as modest as it is now, it just turned out that way as I was playing it trying to fit everything on the N40's range. But it makes sense for me this way. You see, this song is a tribute to that cathedral which honors Mother Mary. Performing it this modest kind of rectifies it as, in my opinion, Mother Mary (and Jesus also I think) cannot be found in large, luxuriously built buildings; I think they'd rather be in simple houses or even on the street with no house at all caring for people in need of help.
