This is a 70s hit by German singer Bernhard Brink. As a child, my parents had a cassette containing 1979s German hits and so this one was also featured on that tape. And for some reason, I always associate this song with floating in a little inflatable boat on one river or the other. It's true that, at the time my parents played this song on that cassette, we went camping alot in Luxemburg and we always had our inflatable boat with us. And since this song is a little waltz, it may bring up the feeling of floating in a boat. But there definitely are alot of other songs in a waltz rhythm that my parents played alot at that time; still, this one in my head is especially linked to that little boat. Even when I was making up this N40 version, the boat was always on my mind. 🙂
