Back when I was a litle child (about 4 years old I guess), I got an old worn out record player. The platter still rotated, but the cartridge was faulty and had no needle. So my father took a card (from a card game, you know), stuck a sewing needle in it and fixed that "assembly" to the tonearm of the record player. Then he put a worn out 45rpm record on the platter, made the platter spin and placed the "needle" at the beginning of the record. The song softly playing was this melody by Udo Jürgens. Sound quality was awful through that needle and the card serving as an amplifier, but the song must have been saved somewhere in my brain. Because today, as we have snow again here (which always is a trigger for me to get back to the time when I was a child and we had winters full of snow), I traveled back to that time and suddenly, I remembered 2 words of the song's lyrics which helped me find it on Youtube. So I couldn't resist to make a Muro Box version to this very special song.
