This is a very nice song by Dutch group Passe-partout. The title translates to "The most simple things" and the lyrics describe how happiness can be obtained from very simple things like singing birds and all little but beautiful things surrounding us. About 20 years ago, I performed this song live during my hiking holidays playing the guitar and singing; it was part of a medley I composed and I edited the lyrics so that the singing birds were replaced with my friends as my friends also are a source of happiness to me. And after I didn't think of this song for a long time, I heard it today as part of a video presentation of a concert. So I thought: "Well, I am going to try and make up an N40 version." So that's what I did. 🙂
