This is a shortened version of Promise Me by Badflower written as a request. I thought the song would be great for Valentine’s Day. It is a love song but it is also about losing a soulmate. The original song is a bit heavier. I wasn’t sure how to approach it at first. Overall, I felt the raw emotion of death should still be conveyed.
